1、 Precautions for installation of control unit
1. Before installation, the following precautions should be strictly followed to avoid damage to electronic components:
-
Handle with care and avoid mechanical impact and collision.
-
Keep it dry.
-
Avoid contact with metal filings, grease, pipeline coatings, and other contaminants.
2. Installation location:
-
The selected installation location should ensure that the module is not affected by natural environment, temperature limits, or severe vibrations.
-
The installation height should not exceed 1.5m (the length of the extension line is 1.5m), and it should be ensured that the water immersed rope is not higher than the ground.
-
Can be fastened onto a 35mm DIN rail fixed to the wall or box surface.
-
Can be fastened to the vacant position of the 35mm DIN rail in the electrical or instrument box.
3. Ensure that the power supply is 9-24VDC/AC, otherwise it may cause the positioning type water leakage detection unit to malfunction and have poor functionality. If there is a grounding phenomenon on site, it is recommended to use 9-24VAC AC power supply to avoid interference.
4. The default output method for the control unit is the Phoenix terminal at the factory. When installing, first check whether the screw on the male head of the Phoenix terminal is loose, and whether the connection with the extension line and adapter line is firm. Then, according to the control unit identification, find the corresponding terminal connection.
2、 Precautions for installation of water immersed ropes
-
The installation location should be away from high temperature sources, paint, strong magnetic fields, and damp and dusty environments. During the wiring process, attention should be paid to avoiding sharp objects from scratching the cables.
-
Use the specialized adhesive card provided for installation, or use a cable harness holder for fixed installation.
-
It can also be lifted along the pipeline, but it must be glued to the pipeline wall with insulating tape, and then the water soaked rope should be laid on the insulating tape.
-
Avoid fixing the installation with glue to avoid damaging the cables.
-
It should be avoided to directly bind and install with metal, as it is prone to interference and false alarms.
-
It should be avoided to install directly facing the air conditioning vent, as the environment is humid and prone to false alarms.
According to the on-site usage environment, it is not recommended to use it in exposed or outdoor environments. If it is not a dust-free factory, the sensitivity of the controller can be appropriately reduced to between 80-90 (refer to the instructions for debugging methods).
